The Voice Israel winner Leena Makhoul Official has landed the support slot on Little Mix’s UK Arena tour.

Little Mix, who found fame on The X Factor, start their tour in Aberdeen on October 9. They will be playing 37 arena shows — with Israeli-Arab Lina opening on all dates.

Other gigs include Leeds First Direct Arena (October 14, November 13), Liverpool Echo Arena (October 16, November 1, 20), Sheffield Arena (October 17, 27,, Glasgow Hydro Arena (October 19, November 10, 11) and Manchester Arena (October 20, November 21, 22).

Lina, who was the first Palestinian to perform at Tel Aviv Pride, had a huge hit with debut single Can’t Keep Falling. She will release a new single, I Wore it Better, to coincide with the Little Mix dates.

After Tel Aviv Pride, she said: “Pride events are happening all over the world, it’s an international thing that encourages the acceptance of others and that is all what matters.

“I don’t like boycotts in general, since I see it as a spread of hate. Yes, there’s a lot of injustice in our world, and we should fight it, but you cannot fight darkness with darkness. You need some light to make a real change.

“I truly believe that music and arts are an international language that connects people together. I won The Voice Israel. People there voted for me. So I’m a living proof that peace and unity can and will come from people and not politicians.

“I hope the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will be solved while I live, so I get to witness the power of love.”
